White Porcelain Outdoor Tiles

What colour grout should I use with white porcelain pavers?

White porcelain paving tiles are becoming very popular but one question that we often receive is which grout to use for porcelain.

There are many grout options to choose from, but the main ones are as follows:

  • Brush in jointing compound
  • External porcelain tile grout
  • Flowpoint Smooth grout

The choice is yours on which grout that you wish to use with your garden paving slabs. If you would like a more seamless look then a lighter grout would be advised with white tiles, however if you prefer more of a contrast in colour between the paving then using a darker charcoal or anthracite grout alongside a white porcelain paving would achieve this appearance.

Are white porcelain pavers expensive?

It is often somewhat of a misconception that porcelain pavers are expensive, in fact some of the best deals are often found when searching for outdoor porcelain paving.

When it comes to choosing pavers for your garden, do not rule out porcelain as a really cost effective option. They often stack up close on price to natural stone paving, such as Indian Sandstone or Limestone.

One point to note however, some of the extra-large porcelain paving such as 1000x1000mm and 1200mm x 600mm can be more expensive due to the manufacturing process, cost of handling and delivery of the large porcelain slabs can increase the cost.

Do white porcelain garden tiles go green?

One of the huge benefits to porcelain paving is that they are not porous. When a surface type is not porous it means that it cannot absorb any moisture. Porcelain paving is extremely stain resistant and does not go green with moss and algae. This is one of the great benefits to choosing porcelain paving for your garden project.
