Delivery
How can I check on my delivery?
For all delivery updates after you have placed your order please contact our haulier Newland Express Transport directly on 01482 575475 (Option 1). Please have the last 5 digits of your order confirmation number along with postcode on hand for them to assist.
How is my order delivered?
All deliveries are kerbside deliveries using a 18 Tonne tail lift delivery vehicle. They are then moved onto the kerbside using a manual pump truck. For further details please view our delivery page.
Can I amend my delivery date?
If you need to amend your delivery date over 7 days before it is due please get in touch with our Sales Team on 01482 688008 or sales@meltonstone.co.uk. If your delivery has been collected by the Haulier we are unable to amend your delivery date.
Do you deliver to my address?
We deliver Nationwide but please check if any charges are applicable on our delivery page. Alternatively, add your goods to the cart and enter your postcode on the checkout page to calculate any delivery costs to your area.
How long does it take to deliver?
Estimated delivery times are scheduled for Monday – Friday between hours of 8am – 6pm. Please allow 3-5 working days from placing your order, however during occasional busy sale periods these deliveries can take up to 7-10 days.
How much does delivery cost?
We state FREE Delivery on all orders over £350* inc VAT to mainland UK Postcode Zones. Some postcodes will have an additional surcharge applied by the Haulier. Click here to see more information about delivery.
Can I collect?
Click and collect orders are available to pick up from our warehouse located in Melton, North Ferriby, East Yorkshire HU14 3HH weekdays from 8.45am - 4.45pm excluding Bank Holidays. If you would like a Saturday morning collection we require at least 24hours notice to have it ready at a showroom to collect.
Ordering
Do you offer large order/bulk discount?
As you will already know our tiles are extremely competitive, however as with any business if you do require a large volume bulk load over 300m2 please email sales@meltonstone.co.uk and we can quote you accordingly.
Do your prices include VAT
Yes for transparency all our prices are including VAT.
How can I place my order?
The easiest way to order is on the website, simply add to your basket and proceed through the checkout process. Alternatively if your billing address and delivery address match we can take the order over the phone. We can also send you a Proforma to pay via BACS.
My billing address and delivery address are different can I place an order?
Yes, if your billing address and delivery address are different you would have to place the order online via our website which is the fastest and easiest way. Please note we cannot take orders over the phone if they are different.
Can I order per m2?
We know all homeowners, contractors, builders and architects measure things in m2 ! That’s why we have created our quick calculator to add the m2 that you require. Each product will calculate the total m2 as you increase the quantity.
How much extra should I order?
As with all tiles and paving projects, we recommended taking the time to measure your area properly. It is advised to order an additional 10% for cuts, damages on site and breakage wastage.
Can you send me a quote?
Yes we appreciate people want to gather multiple quotes. If so please email the team at sales@meltonstone.co.uk requesting a quote of the products you require.
Our Products
I need more tiles, what can I do?
If you require more Porcelain tiles please be aware that batches can change quickly and you may receive a different batch to your original order. This is why we recommend ordering enough to start but we understand mistakes can happen.
If you require more Sandstone tiles please feel free to place your additional order, natural products will always vary so it will not matter the time between orders.
Do you sell aggregates and cement?
No we do not sell aggregates and cement. You will need to use a Builders Merchant for these items.
Should I seal my paving?
Porcelain tiles do not need to be sealed as they are a non-porous product. However, sealing exterior sandstone paving is a personal preference.
Where are your tiles made?
Tile production is truly global market, due to this we have products from all over Europe and beyond. Our Porcelain ranges are primarily manufactured in India and Italy, we also bring in ranges from Spain and beyond. Our sandstone paving is quarried and produced in India.
Can your products be used on commercial and industrial projects?
Yes all of our ranges can be used on commercial projects, we currently sell to multiple large construction companies that know and trust the quality of products from Melton Stone. If you require any further information on commercial ranges please email sales@meltonstone.co.uk
Damages and Returns
What happens if there is damage to my tiles?
We take great pride in checking each and every package before it leaves for delivery. However, on rare occasions damages do happen in transit. If this is the case due to insurance policy you must complete our damages form.
I’ve changed my mind, how do I return my order?
We offer a full 7 days returns policy. We can only accept unopened returns in the same packaging as you have received them in, including shrink wrapping and pallet straps. All returns must be arranged by the customer. If you wish to return your goods please contact us at sales@meltonstone.co.uk Please note unfortunately we cannot accept returns on left over tiles.
Can I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel your order before the goods are due to be delivered please get in touch as soon as possible. If you cancel the order on the same day no restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
If you cancel your order after the first working day a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
If you cancel your order after despatch a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your order along with the deduction of the delivery cost to your property.
Samples
Do you send Samples?
Yes we do! You can order as many samples as you wish, you will only pay for the delivery costs, Please note we get a huge amount of sample requests per day so please allow up to 5-7 days to receive your Samples
What size are the sample pieces you send?
These can vary depending on the product. We aim for a minimum of 100x100mm to ensure a true representation of the products.
Can I get a full sized tile sample?
Yes you can, please note if it requires delivery there will be a pallet charge to ensure safe transit. Alternatively you are welcome to collect from our showroom.
How long will it take to receive my sample?
Please allow up to 5-10 days to receive your sample orders.
