Joint It Elite

Available in Fawn, Dove Grey and Midnight.
Designed for use on outdoor porcelain and smooth natural stone paving, Joint-It Elite is a water permeable, cement-free, ready-mixed paving jointing compound made from a mixture of specialist, non-hazardous, sands and glues. Joints must be a minimum of 2mm wide and 18mm deep to ensure the product is secure.

Step 1 – Prepare the Area

Ensure your patio is clean and free from dust, debris, or loose particles.

Step 2 – Lightly Mist

Spray the surface with clean water using a spray bottle or garden hose. This helps the grout bond properly and prevents it from drying too quickly.

Step 3 – Spread and Sweep

Pour the compound onto the paving, mist again to activate, then use a brush or squeegee to work it into the joints. Make sure the compound is evenly distributed and all gaps are fully filled.

Step 4 – Let it Set

Lightly mist the surface again to help the grout settle. Allow 15–45 minutes (depending on weather conditions) for it to begin drying. Avoid walking on or disturbing the area during this time.

Step 5 – Finish and Clean

Use a soft brush to sweep any remaining compound into the joints, ensuring they’re completely filled. Remove any excess from the surface to leave a clean, smooth finish.

Pro Tips

  • Work in small sections for best results.
  • Adjust misting and drying times based on temperature and humidity.
  • For narrow joints, use a small brush to ensure even filling.
  • Clean tools promptly to prevent product build-up.
